J2 performs an objective assessment of your clinical processes and workflow including status, use, and ability of your perioperative clinical information system to effectively support timely operational management decisions and analysis. The assessment findings include prioritized recommendations as a roadmap for necessary improvements.
It is our experience that successful perioperative leadership incorporates the roles of a Clinical Informaticist and a Business Manager. Therefore, we also include review of these positions within our operational assessments.
Perioperative Clinical Informaticist
The role of a Director of Perioperative Clinical Informatics and/or a Perioperative Clinical Informaticist is a critical member of the management team and one that integrates clinical science and computer science to support daily clinical and operational management to ensure high quality reportable care.
Perioperative Business Manager
The Business Manager is no longer the person who just signs purchase requisitions and ensures that charges are processed. The J2 Group supports the evolution of a Perioperative Business Director/Manager in an expanded role to meet new demands. The Business Director is a critical member of the leadership team by incorporating the analysis of data toward being a more efficient and streamlined organization.
If these positions do not currently exist within an organization, J2 assists in development and mentoring of these positions within Perioperative Services during the transition from volume reimbursement to value reimbursement.
